It's been a good day. Even with the disappointment from my weigh in this morning. I did expect it, but there was something deep inside wishing for a miracle! Well, you can't achieve anything if you don't work hard! I really wanted to have lost 10 Lbs by day 30. Wow, a whole month on this diet. Only 9 pounds lost. From all the blogs I've been reading  most people are losing 9 pounds in the first week or two. But then again, they actually stuck to the diet. Not exactly what I've been doing so far! I really enjoy reading the blogs. They sure do keep me motivated. And i get soo much support that helps big time.

On the other hand, i am very happy and proud of myself to have lost weight the last few months. I started a couple of different diets in April. At that time i was doing great with the diet and i was working out a lot. Then Summer came and we had soo many -out of town- guests and we did some travelling which made it hard to stick to the diet. But i was careful with what i ate.  Then i stopped the diet. But still, i was careful with what i was eating. Until i found about the Dukan a month ago. And i started all over again. I love this diet the most! Although i haven't been sticking to it as i should have. But i love it. And just today, i noticed, that since April i have lost a total of 22 Lbs. My husband reminded me of it when he saw how disappointed i was this morning. He's encouraging me through all this. Family support helps soo much in anything you do. He made me realize, that even though i didn't do soo great this last week, i should be proud of myself for losing 22 Lbs in total. He made my day! I did lose 22 Lbs. I'm happy, I'm proud and i have 28 more pounds to lose. And I'm going to do it. On the Dukan!

  1. You are doing great, 22 lbs is a lot and you should be proud of yourself. 9 lbs in a month is also a lot, if you had not been on the Dukan then those lbs would just still be there and you would not have come closer to your goal :)
You can do this, I believe in you !
