Day 19 - Cruise Phase (PV)

Morning Weigh In: 187.8 Lbs
Daily Weight GAIN: 1.0 Lbs
Total Weight Loss: 7.0 Lbs

A gain this morning. a BIG GAIN! Ugh! this is harder than i thought :(
I think i kinda expected it for  3 reasons.
- Not drinking enough water/ fluids throughout the day.
- Not eating much. I didn't prepare ahead of time things that i can eat. I was busy doing other things. I wasn't hungry for the most part, but when i did get hungry, there was nothing good to eat. Ended up snacking on cheese and deli ham slices. Not too good. The chicken i had for dinner was probably 1/2 a chicken breast in size.
- No exercise! I haven't been doing any kind of real physical activity the last couple of weeks! Not even walking!
Anyways, today is a new day. A new way. and hopefully a new weight loss tomorrow!

Breakfast: Coffee with non fat milk/ 2 boiled eggs (forgot to have my oats today)
Snack: Nothing

Lunch: Grilled Eggplant with minced meat. .
Snack:Nothing
Dinner: I finally made the Lemon & Thyme Chicken. It was really good. Recipe HERE.
Overall it was a good day. Drank well, could do better though. No exercise, but was busy all day running errands.

    Try remember the positive of having lost the day before. I know how you feel about not being prepared and having Dukan friendly food around the house. Since we started back at school I have been busier than ever and have had less time to think about school.
    Have you ever eaten Bobotie? A South African mince dish that I reckon can be tweaked for Dukan? I am going to try it today so will let you know how it goes and post a recipe.

    Thanks Jeanette ... i know for a fact that not having any kind of exercise isnt' helping at all. But i'll do my best for now with my food! :) .. i'm thinking of starting to weigh myself once a week. Instead of everyday. might give it a try this week and see how it goes. Maybe that will keep me motivated and on track! :)

    I know when I was sick and didn't do any exercise, my weight didn't drop at all! So exercise definitely helps, even if it's just 30 minutes...

    When I was only doing exercise and NOT Dukaning, I didn't lose any weight either...so that's why they say Diet and Exercise!

    The results (weight loss) hasn't been happening very quickly for me recently...so I've actually stopped posting my daily weight (but I still weigh myself everyday)...I think having to post that I didn't lose weight, or gained weight is disheartening...so I was thinking of just posting my weight once a week!
