In order for me to go back on track i need to know more about the diet. I have a feeling that I'm missing a few things (besides water and exercise). I need to know more about the Allowed Food and many other things. I ordered my book a few weeks ago and got it. I read some paragraphs, went through pages fast, didn't concentrate, which is very wrong. So, this is what I'll be doing tonight. I'm going to read more about it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to blame something/someone else on my "downs" in the diet. I can only blame myself as i know the basics! I just need to educate myself more on how this diet works and what i can and cannot eat with the quantities.
Now, the question is .... do i continue? and just do a few PP days then back to normal Cruise Phase? or do i start the whole thing over? Start with the Attack Phase then Cruise again? Any Advice on this?
I know one thing for sure. I will not give up .. I'm going to lose my total 50 lbs! no matter how many times and days are needed!

ReplyDeleteI am also an emotional Eater. It was so hard to admit it and believe me it still is. As soon as stress comes my way I want to eat. When I am happy, I want to eat etc etc
I think read the book through - I also started the diet without reading the book. Ordered it and when it came readit through really quickly. Now I am going back, checking things and getting more out of it.
You know the scariest fact in the book for me is the comment about the fat cells. How they get bigger and bigger and eventually they split into 2 daughter cells which never ever will go back into one cell again no matter how much you diet. You can lose weight but you will always have those extra cells waiting. I tell you - THAT FREAKED me out.
I am not a Dukan expert but my suggestion is stay on Cruise. Do a few PP days in a row to get your body out of the eating carbs habit. So maybe 3 and then go into PV/PP. On those 3 days try to only eat the proteins, zero fat dairy etc. Don't eat the tolerated foods. Be very good with what you eat. Every time you feel hungry eat some turkey ham, drink a diet pepsi etc etc.

It depends on how much you went off the diet. If you went off a lot I would start over at the attack phase possibly but I am no expect. That is just what I would do so you can get your cravings out of your system. Good luck!

I'd recommend doing a couple of days of the attack phase again (PP) to get yourself back on track too - sounds like that is what you are doing. Hope it is going well! Waiting for my book so I don't have the list of allowed foods either - just stick to the things you know for sure that you can have - the lean meat, fish, turkey, chicken, sashimi, egg whites, herbs, spices and such so you know you are doing it hardcore.
