Morning weigh in: 186 Lbs
No change on weight this morning
Total Weight Loss: 2.4 Lbs
Disappointed. 4 days into cruise and I just managed to gain weight and not lose any. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Got to get back to basics and try harder. Try and mix up my food. Today is a PP day. I would hope to find a drop in my weight tomorrow.
Here's how my day went:
Breakfast:
- Cup of Tea
- 2 Hard Boiled Eggs
- 1 Tbls Labaneh
Lunch:
- Home made beef burger w/ a little ketchup
- 1 non fat laughing cow cheese wedge
Snack:
- 2 bites of donuts
- Green Tea
- Cup of Coffee
Dinner:
- Miracle Noodle Soup w/ chicken bits (hot sauce, soy sauce & ginger)
- A small bread bun :(
Ahh, i just gave in and had 2 bites of donuts and the bread later on. Why why? I wasn't even feeling hungry. (i guess that's why I'm over weight! I eat when I'm not hungry!)
On the other hand, I did pretty well with water today!! Yay! Had lots to drink.
Oh well, tomorrow is a new day. Have a great day all.
Is it possible you are undereating? It looks like very little calories, and even though you're not supposed to really worry about calories, you're not supposed to starve yourself either. And where were these donuts & bread? If they are in the house, it's best to have nothing like that around as a temptation. I know you don't live alone, but your family may have to do without certain foods at home if you are going to be successful.
ReplyDeleteHi Veerukka, thanks for your thoughts. I'm not sure about eating less or more. I feel like i've been eating plenty and maybe that's why i'm adding weight? not sure. I'll keep an eye on that and try and figure out whether eating more is what I need. As for the donuts,it's funny because usually I don't eat donuts! but today for some weird reason i decided to try it! We usually don't buy donuts, but today my brother visited and he had a tray of donuts! Yikes! I usually resist! UGH, not today. I need more self power! & you're right, having these things laying around doesn't help! Thanks again! :)
ReplyDeleteI just calculated my calories for today and yes, you're right, i should be eating more! I cam in at around 750 calories! That doesnt work. I need at least 1200. I know it's not about calories here, but I use www.myfitnesspal.com and I just added what i ate. Not enough. I should be managing my food better. Thanks for pointing it out Veerukka!

When you eat carby food-- bread buns, bites of donuts, it immediately kicks you out of ketosis and the fat burning machine that your body has turned into no longer acts that way. Low carb diets don't have much room for cheating.
ReplyDeleteAlso cheese (incl. non fat) is not allowed on the Dukan Diet, except for FF cream cheese and ricotta....

@Masha: I use 1% mik to make it & yeah, i think you are right about the protein. Will try to do better :)
