Day 16 - Cruise Phase (PP)

Morning Weigh In: 188.6 Lbs
Daily Weight LOSS: ZERO Lbs
Total Weight Loss: 6.2 Lbs

Another FREEZE for me! wow, this last week has been terrible. I'm not even able to go back to the lowest weight that i got to when i first started the Dukan Diet! I have to say that i am disappointed a bit. On the other hand, i ate out, which is always NOT something good for me. Went out twice last week. I should try not to do that or to make healthier choices if i do.

Oh, and guess what?! Finally after about 2 yrs, i'm able to wear my wedding rings!! It's not only becaus eof the 6.2Lbs that i lost on Dukan, but i did lose about 14 Lbs before that using a different diet/work out. That DID make me SOO happy! At least my fingers are getting thinner! hehe  It does feel good. I'm now thinking, how GOOD is it going to feel when i lose the weight that i want to lose. How good would it feel when i start wearing my OLD jeans! Can't wait for that. I'm going to patient. I"m going to do this.  I"m going to lose my 50 Lbs!

Breakfast: Coffee / 1 sausage
Snack: 2 crab legs
Lunch: Wasn't hungry
Snack: 2 Crab legs
Dinner: beef flank steak with Moroccan seasoning (placed it in the slow cooker on high for 4 hours) D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!   came out really flavorful and tender!

Spices i used for the meat rub: Cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, ground turmeric. Then in the slow cooker i put 1 bay leaf and 2 Cinnamon sticks. Then poured some beef stock in the slow cooker.

I hope i have a good day on the scales tomorrow morning. I really need the scales to go down for some encouragement! :)   Wish me luck!

  1. Hi Julie, do you think you're eating enough? Looking at your list of food you don't seem to be eating all that much. 4 crab legs between breakfast and dinner isn't very substantial! I just wonder if you're trying to lower your food intake to help with the weight loss but it may be having the opposite effect. Perhaps your body is going into 'starvation mode' and holding on to it's fat resources for dear life!? Just a thought that upping the amount you're eating will get things moving again

  2. For some reason, i wasn't hungry on this day. I just felt full. It wasn't intentionally. But you have a point there. I should be eating a bit better. I usually do eat better. Thanks for sharing this. I'll keep it in mind for sure :)
