I forgot about the Oat Bran today .... will have it tomorrow for sure.

Thank you all for all your encouragement and words of support. It means the world to me. We can all get through this together. We can do it :)

  2. Yaaay, she's BACK! Good luck Julie luv, you sound like you're motivated and you had an excellent food day! How did you go, hunger-wise? Depending on how much Salmon you had at lunch-time, I'd have been ravenous by the time dinner rolled around! ;-)

I've had a quick squiz though your past entries, and can't see any mention of oatbran porridge - have you tried this yet? It's REALLY helped me out, a serving of that and some scrambled eggs keep me going strong till lunchtime!

Here's my recipe for Attack (2 day's worth:)

    3 tbsp oatbran
    250ml skimmed milk
    pinch of salt
    sweetener to taste

Combine the oatbran, milk and salt in a saucepan, and bring almost to the boil, stirring regularly.

As soon as it's bubbling a little, turn the heat right down, keep stirring until it's thickened.

Add sweetener to taste, and then dole out equally into two tupperware containers (or one tupperware container and a bowl for you now.)

For Cruise, it's easier to make it in batches of three:

    6tbsp oatbran
    450ml milk
    Pinch of salt
    sweetener to taste

Cook as above, but divide into three portions rather than two.

Well worth trying if you've not already! :)

  3. Hi Julie,
    Nice to have you back.
Take it from someone who tends to have the same "problem", the oatbran is essential to keeping you regular, in porridge as Charlotte suggests and/or sprinkled over yoghurts. I am never without it.
    All the best
