I did a 5K this morning! Wow! Can't believe it :) - Well, it was jogging/fast walking, but I actually did it. Which is great. Felt tired. I'm a bit sore in the legs, but i am super happy! And i feel great! It feels great to run. I got a feel to what the 5K is going to be in a couple of weeks. Hopefully by that time I can actually run it without stopping or just stopping a few times.
With more and more training/runs I am sure I'll get there!
Good weekend. Nothing new with my weight. I'm exactly the same. The last couple of days I had BBQ'd everything. Beef Kebab, Chicken Kebab, Baba Ghanouj (egg plant grilled), some salad (with no dressing). Pretty good.
I need to start making slight changes to my diet. As I need different kind of food for my training/run. It'll be mostly Dukan on PV. Hopefully that won't affect my main challenge of losing 10 Lbs by the 27th of Aug.
I'll catch up on your blogs in a bit. hope you're all doing well.
Wow! Congratulations! 5K accomplished, I'd say! From now on you'll be working on IMPROVING!
ReplyDeleteRemember that muscle weighs more than fat - it really does! And on the various forums, the Dukan authorized experts (doctors et al.) have actually suggested eating small portions of good carbohydrates before athletic challenges to keep going! This is a diet for the mostly sedentary ... and you are turning into an athlete on us :-)
Thats amazing - I'm so envious of people who can run - just dont think im built for it and I would need to wear a sports bra and a normal one on top of that for support!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 5K run this morning!
ReplyDeleteI think your weight will continue to drop in spite of doing any extra PV days, due to all the additional training & running you're doing...
